Privacy Policy

Metrica Development LLC (“Metrica”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a Florida-registered software development agency headquartered at 4105 SW 97th Ave, Miami, FL 33165, United States. We design and build ERP systems, websites, and AI agents for operations-heavy small and mid-sized businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through metricadevelopment.com (the “Site”), how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data. By using the Site or contacting us through it, you acknowledge the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you submit our discovery-call form, request a proposal, or otherwise contact us, we collect the details you provide: full name, business email, phone number, company name, team size, project type, a free-text description of your project, the preferred date and time for a discovery call, and any attachments or follow-up correspondence you share with us. The Site does not require you to create an account, and we do not request government IDs, financial-account numbers, or payment-card data through the Site.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and analytics tooling log standard technical data: IP address, approximate geolocation derived from that IP, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, the pages you view, timestamps, and the URLs you arrive from or depart to. We also capture the UTM parameters present in the URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) so we can understand which campaigns drive inquiries.

Information from third parties. If you reach us through a referral platform, a partner integrator, or a marketing campaign, the platform may share a limited subset of contact data with us (typically name, email, and the inquiry message) so we can respond.

2. How we use your information

To respond to your inquiry, prepare a written quote, schedule and conduct discovery calls, and send follow-up communications directly related to a request you initiated.

To deliver, support, and improve any engagement that follows a signed statement of work — including project scoping, milestone reviews, deployment, training, and post-launch support.

To operate, secure, and improve the Site: fixing bugs, monitoring uptime, preventing abuse, and analyzing aggregate usage to inform design and content decisions.

To send occasional service announcements, project updates, and (only with your explicit opt-in) marketing communications. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

To comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, and defend our legal rights.

3. Legal basis for processing

For visitors located outside the United States — including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with comprehensive data-protection laws — we process personal information on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent (for marketing emails and any non-essential cookies); the performance of, or steps taken prior to entering, a contract with you (when you request a quote, a discovery call, or services); our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and growing the business (where those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms); and our legal obligations under applicable law.

For US-based visitors, we process personal information consistent with the applicable state and federal privacy frameworks described below.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose personal information only in the limited circumstances described here.

Service providers (sub-processors). We share information with vendors that help us operate the business under written contracts that restrict their use of the data: our self-hosted Odoo CRM running on infrastructure we control; our transactional email provider for sending discovery-call confirmations and reminders; our cloud hosting and content-delivery platform for serving the Site; our error-monitoring and uptime services; and our calendaring and video-conferencing tools used to run discovery calls.

Professional advisors. We may share information with our accountants, lawyers, insurers, and similar advisors when reasonably necessary to obtain professional advice or to protect our rights.

Business transfers. If Metrica is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

Legal disclosures. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or is reasonably necessary to enforce our agreements or protect the safety, rights, or property of Metrica, our clients, or the public.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a minimum of cookies and local-storage entries: strictly necessary cookies that keep the Site functional and remember your language preference, and a small set of privacy-respecting analytics signals that help us measure aggregate traffic. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and do not participate in cross-site tracking networks.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may impair the Site’s functionality. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Inquiry records and discovery-call notes are retained for up to 36 months from the last interaction so we can respond to follow-up questions and maintain client history. Contract, billing, and tax records are retained for at least seven years to comply with US tax and corporate-record obligations. Server access logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting. When personal information is no longer required, we delete it or irreversibly anonymize it.

7. Data security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest for our CRM database backups, access controls and least-privilege permissions for staff, audit logging on our CRM, hardware-key multi-factor authentication on administrative accounts, and routine security reviews of our infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure: if you have reason to believe your data is no longer safe with us, please contact us immediately using the details below.

8. International data transfers

Metrica is based in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your personal information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and in any other country where our service providers operate. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or other lawful mechanisms — to provide adequate protection for your data.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: request access to the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate or incomplete data; request deletion of your personal information; restrict or object to certain processing activities; withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent; and request portability of data you provided to us in a structured, machine-readable format.

For California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the right to delete that information, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not engage in either), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

For EEA/UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR). In addition to the rights above, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you believe our processing of your personal information violates applicable law.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@metricadevelopment.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law — typically within 30 days for GDPR/UK GDPR requests and 45 days for CCPA/CPRA requests.

10. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including case-study references, client sites, and our profiles on social networks. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site or communicated to you by email where appropriate. Your continued use of the Site after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
